Music was a big thing for Sage growing up, but now two different friend groups know them as two different things: the musician or the scientist. It’s always fun when they cross paths and someone mentions the music.
"Stay Aware," an upcoming collaboration (coming February 10th to all platforms) between Mik Rodriguez and Sage, started out with Mik sending an acoustic guitar track and Sage writing a melody and lyrics over it. Sage expands on the experience of fighting to feel real (or feel anything at all) in such a difficult time. Encouraging listeners to "stay aware," Sage lyrically utilizes all 5 senses in the effort to remain calm and grounded despite ongoing personal battles of identity, religion, and the reality of mortality.
Sage is excited to get back to performing live after the pandemic, though connecting with fans through various online means (such as Instagram @sagecrosby) has been quite an adventure.
